An Giang approved the detailed construction planning project of 1/500 scale Vam Cong Industrial Park
Vam Cong industrial park has a planned area of about 199.20 hectares, with the nature of an industrial park with regional functions to promote economic development in An Giang province.

An Giang Provincial People’s Committee has just issued a Decision approving the detailed construction planning project of 1/500 scale Vam Cong Industrial Park, My Thanh Ward, Long Xuyen City, An Giang province, is planned by Nippon Koei Co., LTD, and Vietnam Urban and Industrial Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company. The investor is the Economic Zone Management Board of An Giang province.
This industrial park has a regional function with the role of promoting economic development in An Giang province. The policy is not to attract industries on the list of prohibited or restricted due to environmental pollution.
This industrial park focusing on developing industries (electronic manufacturing and assembly industries, agro-fishery processing industries with high, modern, and environmentally friendly technology applications) logistics services, is focused on investing in building a system of technical infrastructure, synchronous and contemporary services.
The Provincial People’s Committee assigned the Economic Zone Management Board to coordinate with the People’s Committee of Long Xuyen City and other departments and agencies to implement the project by the planning and law.
It is known that An Giang province has three industrial parks that have been put into use, including Binh Hoa Industrial Park (Chau Thanh District) with a scale of 132ha with an occupancy rate of 91%, Binh Long Industrial Park (Chau Phu District) with a ranking of 30.57ha with an occupancy rate of 91%. 100% fully installed and Xuan To Industrial Park (Tinh Bien district) with a scale of 57.4ha.
Currently, the Economic Zone Management Board is also inviting investors to pay attention and invest in the infrastructure of industrial zones: Vam Cong Industrial Park, Hoi An Industrial Park (Cho Moi District) with a scale of 100 hectares, Binh Long Industrial Park with an expansion of 120 hectares, and Industrial Parks with a scale of 100 hectares. Binh Hoa expands to 52ha, Binh Hoa Industrial Park expands phase 2 to 32.95ha.
