Appears the urban – service – industrial complex in the south
The appearance of Becamex IDC 6300ha in Dong Phu created an unprecedented fever of urban – service – industry complexes, contributing to making Binh Phuoc the industrial capital of the Southeast.

On December 12, 2019, Binh Phuoc People’s Committee and Becamex IDC Corporation officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement to build urban – service – industrial infrastructure in Dong Phu district with a scale of 6,300 ha. This super project is a testament to the resonance to promote the solid socio-economic development of Dong Phu district in particular and Binh Phuoc province in general in 2020 – 2030.
The project is located on Binh Duong – Dong Phu Expressway, the most critical traffic route transporting goods to My Phuoc – Tan Van Expressway, along with the DT741 and DT753 courses, the traffic artery connecting Dong Phu – Dong Nai – Long Thanh Airport – Cai Mep Port is also an important trade link of Binh Phuoc.
Located in the southeast of Binh Phuoc province, Dong Phu possesses strengths in the land fund, natural resources, and human resources, fully converging potential for comprehensive economic development. In particular, the infrastructure system, including the network of provincial roads, district roads, and rural areas, has been invested and built, playing an essential role in linking the intra-provincial economy and key economic zones in the south. Although newly exploited in recent years, Dong Phu has become a bright spot to attract domestic and foreign investors. The appearance of Becamex IDC is an essential factor promoting the development potential of Binh Duong.
With an open and open policy, especially a cross-cutting perspective that accompanies investors and businesses, Binh Phuoc province has promoted investment attraction for Dong Phu district alone become a high-tech park, meeting international standards, striving by the end of 2025 to raise the total production value at current prices to more than 32,500 billion VND, the general growth rate reached 11.61%, of which industry – construction reached 13.58%, trade – service reached 10.4%, agriculture – forestry and fishery 8.93%, average income reaching 100 million VND/person/year.
Compared to neighboring provinces, Binh Phuoc has a slower starting point. Nevertheless, with the latter advantage, it will help the province gain valuable experience in attracting investment and developing socio-economic, contributing to sharing the pressure for Ho Chi Minh City and other satellite cities in the regional economic center of the South.
