Binh Dinh spends more than 600 hectares developing industrial clusters

In 2020 – 2025, Binh Dinh province will focus on investing in building 41 industrial clusters. The Government approves 40 industrial groups, and Binh An industrial collection is supported by the People’s Council of Binh Dinh province.

Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee has just approved Decision 4180/QD-UBND approving the scheme for allocating land funds to form and develop industrial clusters. That will build a concentrated agricultural, forestry, aquatic, and seafood processing zone for small and medium-sized enterprises in Binh Dinh province in the period 2020 – 2025 to attract investors to build technical infrastructure, contributing to socio-economic development festival; meet the needs of small and medium enterprises investing in production and business in industrial clusters and concentrated processing zones; It is necessary to facilitate efficient exploitation of natural resources and protect the environment according to the guidelines and resolutions of the Party and State.

The objective of the project is to allocate enough land funds to serve the development of industrial production in Binh Dinh province from 2020 to 2025. In which, priority is given to the land fund to develop processing agricultural, forestry, aquatic, and seafood products; not add new industrial land fund to form concentrated agricultural, forestry, marine, and seafood processing zones. To develop industrial production in the province in association with the national target program on new rural areas. Focus on investing in building and completing technical infrastructure of industrial clusters and concentrated processing zones, promptly overcoming environmental pollution; increase the occupancy rate of industrial groups and concentrated processing zones. Effectively implement the state management of land use for industrial production development.

Specifically, to allocate 602.8 hectares of industrial land to focus on investing in the construction of 41 industrial clusters in the period 2020 – 2025 (including 40 industrial groups approved by the Government in Resolution No. 98/NQ-CP dated July 27, 2018, and Binh An Industrial Complex was approved by the Provincial People’s Council in Resolution No. 23/2020/NQ-HDND dated December 6, 2020); In which, priority is given to 335.5 ha of land for processing agricultural, forestry, aquatic and seafood products in the industrial cluster.

Allocation of 27.8 hectares of land for processing agricultural, forestry, aquatic products, and seafood in two concentrated areas (including seafood processing zone along the new National Highway 19: 11.5 hectares; System of fishing ports and zones anchoring and sheltering from storms for fishing vessels and Tam Quan fisheries logistics services: 16.3 ha were all approved by the Provincial People’s Council in Resolution No. 23/2020/NQ-HDND dated December 6, 2020).

According to the master plan for 2020 – 2025, the unused industrial land fund in 41 industrial clusters has 602.8 hectares, of which 472.6 hectares are capable of arranging agricultural, forestry, aquatic, and marine processing industries, including 154.6 ha dedicated to the processing industry of agriculture, forestry, fishery and seafood and 318.0 ha arranged for general industries including the processing of agricultural, forestry, aquatic and seafood products. The total demand for the land fund for processing agricultural, forestry, marine, and seafood products are estimated at 335.5 ha. Balancing between demand and capacity, in 2020-2025, a land fund of 335.5 ha will be allocated for processing agricultural, forestry, aquatic, and seafood products.

To arrange land funds for the formation and development of concentrated agricultural, forestry, aquatic, and seafood processing zones; the land fund for the construction and development of the planned but unused processing zones is 27.8 ha in the locality. Tuy Phuoc district (11.5 ha) and Hoai Nhon town (16.3 ha). From 2020 to 2025, this will arrange 27.8 hectares of land for processing agricultural, forestry, aquatic, and seafood products in two concentrated areas.

Appropriate land fund arrangement and efficient use of industrial land will contribute to sustainable economic development. Arranging the land fund for industrial production in industrial clusters and concentrated processing zones rationally to meet the investment needs of agricultural, forestry, aquatic, and seafood processing projects from 2020 to 2025 to help investors in construction and business of technical infrastructure of industrial clusters as well as small and medium enterprises to choose the location and scale of the project.
