Businesses at VSIP Binh Duong accelerate at the end of the year

Manufacturing enterprises in VSIP I and II industrial parks are gradually operating, intending to regain growth momentum in the last months of the year.

At VSIP I and II Binh Duong, up to now, about 98% of businesses have reopened, the number of workers has also gradually returned, and goods have been rotated stably.

Enterprises are boosting production, trying to regain economic growth momentum in the last months of the year, at the same time, ensuring safety in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic is still paying particular attention to Vietnam industrial zones”, said VSIP representative.

DADL Co., Ltd., VSIP II industrial park, Hoa Phu ward, Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong, had about 1,510 employees before the epidemic. After more than a month of the “new normal,” about 1,000 workers returned to work.

Ms. Ho Huynh Thanh Thao, deputy executive director of the business, said that to ensure the operation of the line, the company is inviting workers who have returned to their hometowns to return to the industry by providing travel expenses for employees. In addition, the enterprise has increased recruitment, aiming to restore 100% of operating capacity in the first quarter of 2022.

For employees with young children, this business supports computers to continue to work online from home. “At this time, the health of employees is still the company’s top priority,” emphasized Ms. Thao.

At this time, P&G Factory, VSIP II, Tan Hiep 17 Street, Vinh Tan, Tan Uyen also had about 900 employees returned to work, reaching 90% of the number of troops before the epidemic.

Dang Duc Toan, Supply Chain Director of P&G Factory, said that the business still maintains capacity, ensures the number of essential goods to serve consumers, and at the same time, focuses on protecting the safety of workers.

“Up to now, 100% of employees have received the 1st dose, and 92% have received the 2nd dose of Covid-19 vaccine. The company actively buys test kits, organizes tests, distributes test kits to employees’ families. , support dormitories for workers in risk areas, implement a company-wide health counseling and support program,” Toan said.

Businesses also recognized the active support of the Industrial Park Management Board of Binh Duong province and the infrastructure development unit VSIP who: 

  • Supported the approval of registration/conversion of flexible production models
  • Conducted a fact-finding survey to give detailed instructions to businesses in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic
  • Support vaccination against Covid-19 for workers to feel secure in production.

Besides gradually stabilizing production activities, real estate and housing projects in 2 VSIP industrial parks in Binh Duong have also started to be deployed to meet the construction progress. Typically, the Sun Casa Central project is located on a land fund of more than 30 hectares in the center of VSIP II Urban, Industrial, and Service Area, where more than 500,000 employees, including more than 45,000 professionals, live working.

“After interruptions due to the impact of the epidemic, from the beginning of October, hundreds of apartments in phase 1 began to be handed over to customers”, a representative of VSIP investor shared.

Sun Casa Central is a synchronous planning project focusing on utilities and a healthy living environment. The project includes utilities such as The Sun Mall commercial service complex of 3 hectares, The Sun Park park, the adjacent The Sun Container Night Market commercial entertainment and service area. Along with that, VSIP also cooperated to build a 5,000m2 polyclinic and a 400-child preschool to serve the local needs of residents.

According to VSIP, phase 3 of The Habitat apartment complex – at the gateway of VSIP I industrial park will also soon start construction in the next period. The third phase of this luxury apartment complex focuses on various internal utility spaces with an overhead infinity pool, sky bar, outdoor performance stage, green park, gym, yoga, sports playground, jogging track, BBQ area, children’s play area…

“The implementation of phase 3 of The Habitat immediately after the epidemic is to accelerate the completion of the project and urgently meet the residency needs for foreign experts who will return to Vietnam to work in the period 2023-2025 when international connections are fully restored”, a representative of VSIP said.
