Can Tho: Commodity export turnover in 2021 skyrocketed

According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City, in the first 11 months of 2021, Can Tho’s export turnover of goods to the European market reached 119.5 million USD, while in the whole year of 2020, exports to this market will get this market turnover reached 105 million USD.

The items exported by Can Tho enterprises to the above market include aquatic products, rice, agricultural and processed agricultural products, garments, pharmaceuticals, veterinary drugs, handicrafts, and many items such as leather and machinery.

Can Tho currently has 38 enterprises exporting goods to the European market, of which there are 11 rice exporters, 15 seafood exporters, five garment exporters, two agricultural exporters, agricultural products, and processed food products, three enterprises export pharmaceuticals and veterinary drugs.
