Establishment of an industrial park for economic cooperation between Vietnam and Korea with nearly 1,800 billion VND

The first Korean-style clean industrial park project in Vietnam will belong to Industrial Park and Service Urban Ly Thuong Kiet, Hung Yen province.

Hung Yen Provincial People’s Committee has just issued a decision to establish this industrial park. The project has a scale of more than 143 hectares by LH Group in cooperation with TDH Ecoland Urban Development and Investment Joint Stock Company and several Korean investors.

The project is divided into 2 phases with a total investment of more than 1,780 billion VND (nearly 77 million USD). The investor implements procedures for land acquisition and infrastructure investment according to the planning, ensuring the ground to receive investors.

This industrial park is part of a core economic cooperation project that the Korean Government has promoted in Vietnam through the New Southbound Policy in the housing, real estate, and industrial sectors. Previously, the prime minister of Vietnam approved the project and added it to the master plan on developing industrial parks in the country until 2020.

Vice-Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People’s Committee Dang Ngoc Quynh affirmed that this province always accompanies businesses to create favorable conditions and solve difficulties and problems to speed up research and investment implementation for the project. The first Korean-style clean industrial park in Vietnam will soon come into operation.
