From September 10, Thu Dau Mot City returned to the “new normal” state
On September 8, the People’s Committee of Thu Dau Mot City (Binh Duong) said that from September 10, Thu Dau Mot City would return to a “new normal” state after having well prepared the proposed plans.

Currently, Thu Dau Mot City has vaccinated people aged 18 and over, the injection rate is nearly 90%.
Accordingly, in the first week, residents of any ward will operate and travel within that ward. The city will be open to traffic in the next week, returning to the “new normal.”
The city will reopen traditional markets and supermarkets because small businesses must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and comply with the “5K” regulation of the Ministry of Health. Previously, the “green zone” districts in the north of Binh Duong province have also relaxed social distancing. In which, the districts of Bau Bang, Dau Tieng, and Bac Tan Uyen have applied the enhanced Directive 15 (only the “yellow zone” and “red zone” apply Directive 16) from September 6. Only business establishments dealing in essential goods and services are allowed to serve the vital needs of the people.
Notably, the Phu Giao district applies Directive 15 throughout the area from September 6 until new notice. Foodservice establishments and households are allowed to resume operations, but only for take-out.

The area with 5,000 to 7,000 workers will establish a health care clinic for workers and workers.
Despite being significantly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, with flexible policies and solutions, Binh Duong province still completed the target of attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) as planned to become one of the leading localities in the country. Newly awarded FDI projects with investment certificates are a concrete demonstration of FDI enterprises’ trust and long-term commitment in this potential locality.
From the beginning of 2021 until now, the whole province has attracted nearly 1.3 billion USD of FDI, reaching 159% over the same period in 2020. Of which, 27 projects have been granted new investment registration certificates, by 52% over the same period. Investors come from many countries and territories such as Korea, Singapore, Japan… with nearly 20 industries and fields. The most are the processing and manufacturing industries.
