Hanoi will establish many industrial parks in the next four years.
The Hanoi People’s Committee has just issued Decision No. 65/QD-UBND approving the Project “Establishment of 2 – 5 new industrial zones in the 2021-2025 period”.

Accordingly, in the period from 2021 to 2025, the city determines and strives to complete the goal of establishing five new industrial parks, including:
Soc Son Clean Industrial Park, Soc Son district, with an area of 302.8 hectares in two communes, Minh Tri and Tan Dan;
Dong Anh Industrial Park, Dong Anh District, with an area of 300ha in communes Nguyen Khe, Xuan Non, Thuy Lam, Lien Ha, and Dong Anh town;
Bac Thuong Tin Industrial Park, Thuong Tin District, area of 112ha in Van Binh, Ninh So, Lien Phuong communes;
Expanded Phu Nghia Industrial Park, Chuong My District, with an area of 389 hectares in Phu Nghia, Truong Yen, and Ngoc Hoa communes;
Phung Hiep Industrial Park, Thuong Tin District, area 174.88ha in Dung Tien, Nghiem Xuan, To Hieu, Thang Loi communes.
According to the Hanoi People’s Committee, establishing these industrial zones will meet the requirements of attracting investment and developing industrial production, speeding up the city’s industrialization and modernization process shortly.
Up to now, the city has ten industrial parks in operation with an area of 1,347.42 hectares.
Nine industrial parks with an area of 1,270,5 ha have been operating stably, with an occupancy rate of nearly 100%.
As of early December 2021, Hanoi’s industrial parks have attracted over 700 projects. There are 303 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with a total registered investment capital of nearly 6.1 billion USD. Te 399 domestic investment projects with a total registered investment capital of almost 18,000 billion VND, the average reported worth of over 18 million USD/FDI project, over 53 billion VND/domestic project; On average, 1 hectare of land attracts USD 5.5 million of registered investment capital.
Hanoi’s industrial zones have attracted nearly 165 thousand workers.
