Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh Expressway is about to be completed
The extended route 319 in Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province, has been completed, waiting for the final procedures to connect with the Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh expressway. Road 319 is expected to be put into operation at the end of July, which will shorten the time to transport goods from Nhon Trach Industrial Park to Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa.

The whole route is 9.4km long, including the mainline nearly 2.4km long, 16m wide, and the branches more than 7km long and 8m wide. The total project cost is nearly 1,000 billion VND.
The project has four bridges, of which two trees are located on two paths parallel to the Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay highway. Each bridge has two lanes, one-way traffic. Road 319 extends through Phuoc Thien commune, Nhon Trach district. Once put into operation, the route will help connect the expressway with industrial parks in Nhon Trach, shortening the time to transport goods to Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa.
In addition, in the future, the route will connect with Phuoc An bridge via the Ba Ria – Vung Tau interpret road with Cai Mep – Thi Vai port, reducing the load on National Highway 51, especially the intersection in Long Thanh town. It helps the central area to connect conveniently to Long Thanh international airport.
The items of painting road markings, signs, lighting systems have been installed. On the construction site, workers urgently complete the installation of guardrails along the route, constructing the toll station operator.
After completion, it is expected to “rescue” severe congestion on Long Thanh Expressway for many years.
