The tax industry creates favorable conditions for businesses to develop and promote growth
The General Department of Taxation said that in the last months of the year, it would focus on removing and promptly solving difficulties and obstacles for businesses, improving the business environment, and creating favorable conditions for companies to develop and earn revenue, attract investment, increase new production capacity, promote economic growth, create a premise to raise revenue for the state budget.

General Director of Taxation Cao Anh Tuan said that the General Department of Taxation would direct departments and units to actively research and advise to submit to the Ministry of Finance and the Government to issue implementation documents on the solution package tax exemption and reduction to support people and businesses facing difficulties due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic; develop scripts to propagate immediately to beneficiaries. Tax authorities at all levels quickly put support policies into practice, directly supporting people and businesses in a timely and practical manner.
In addition, the industry strengthened the strict management of tax refunds from the beginning of the year, ensuring the tax refund to the suitable subjects, following the tax law policy of the State, creating conditions for taxpayers to have more financial resources central for production and business.
According to the General Department of Taxation, the total state budget revenue in the first seven months of 2021 managed by tax authorities is estimated at 763,805 billion VND. This revenue equals 68.4% of the ordinance estimate and 113.1% over the same period in 2020. The 7-month revenue collection is quite good in progress and speed compared to the implementation level in the same period in previous years. Recently, the state budget revenue in the first four months of the year has been quite good, but the revenue movement over the months has tended to decrease gradually and especially rapidly since the epidemic broke out again from the end of April until now.
By the end of July, only 47 out of 63 localities had progressed to over 63%.
