Vinh Phuc will build 25 industrial parks in the next ten years
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuong, Head of Vinh Phuc Industrial Parks Management Board, said that the province would form industrial centers and welcome FDI inflows.

In a recent sharing session on planning management and development of industrial zones in Vinh Phuc, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuong said that it is expected that in the period of 2021-2030, the province will invest in the construction of 23-25 industrial parks. The total land fund is about 7,000ha.
This is a significant development step for the province to form regional industrial centers with several large corporations. Currently, enterprises’ production and business activities have launched essential products with large quantities, good quality, and high competitiveness in the market, contributing to increasing exports, increasing budget revenue, and creating jobs for people.
According to Mr. Phuong, to accomplish this goal, Vinh Phuc has to solve many existing problems, promoting infrastructure construction of industrial parks. Currently, the traffic system is slow to be invested or has deteriorated and has not been maintained in time. The general management is not good, the situation of markets and shops pollutes the environment, insecurity and traffic safety often occurs, affecting the investment environment, production and business activities.
New investment projects and industrial parks are developed mainly near major urban centers in the province, close to the Hanoi capital, a large market, and good infrastructure conditions. But it still ensures the exploitation and development of industrial parks in hilly areas and lousy soil, limiting the planning to convert agricultural land according to the proposed orientation.
As of 2021, Vinh Phuc has 14 industrial parks that have been decided on investment policies or granted investment registration certificates and established with a total planning area of 2.773 million hectares. The planned industrial land area is more than 2 million hectares. Eight industrial parks have been put into operation: Khai Quang (216.24ha), Binh Xuyen (286.98ha), Kim Hoa (50ha), Ba Thien (325.75ha), Binh Xuyen II – phase 1 (42.21ha), Ba Thien II (308.83ha), Tam Duong II – Zone A (135.17ha), Thang Long Vinh Phuc (213ha).
The prime minister approved six new industrial parks in the first quarter of 2021, including Song Lo II, Tam Duong I – KV2, Song Lo I, Nam Binh Xuyen, Thai Hoa – Lien Son – Lien Hoa (Area II – phase 1).
