VITAS Chairman presents the Membership Certificate to Arise IIP Managing Office Ltd

On May 12, 2002, in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Vu Duc Giang – Chairman of Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), met and awarded the Membership Certificate to Arise Integrated Industry Platform Joint Stock Company (ARISE IIP). Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai – Deputy Secretary-General of VITAS also attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Mr. Giang gave an overview of Vietnam’s textile and garment industry and the mission and operation orientation of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association. He suggested Arise IIP participate in the events organized by VITAS actively. 

Ms. Vi Nguyen – Sales Director of Arise IIP, introduced the functions and activities of Arise IIP Managing Office Ltd and proposed solutions to coordinate with VITAS in calling for Vietnamese businesses to invest and develop market development in Africa.

ARISE Integrated Industrial Platforms (ARISE IIP) designs, finances, conceives and operates industrial ecosystems across Africa. ARISE defines and builds a globally competitive industry and logistics ecosystem in Africa. Beside, ARISE enables African economic transformation and job creation through sustainable industrial ecosystems and commercial value creation.

With abundant raw cotton resources, ARISE IIP is present in Gabon with the Gabon Special Economic Zone (GSEZ), in Benin with the Glo-Djigbé Industrial Park (GDIZ), and Togo with the Adétikopé Industrial Platform (PIA). Industrial zones in Côte d’Ivoire and Chad are currently under development and will be devoted mainly to processing local agricultural products.

ARISE provides the infrastructure that enables businesses to operate sustainably. 

We focus on creating prosperous value chains for the textile industry from sourcing raw materials, transforming raw materials (manufacturing), to exporting finished products.

So ARISE utilizes rich natural resources and offers opportunities to produce and convert raw cotton, encouraging exports of cotton textiles and finished garments from under-utilized cotton producers of West Africa to the rest of the world.

In addition, seaports open access to Western markets such as the US, European countries, South African countries, and Central Asia. This saves on supply chain and logistics costs. With that said, ARISE IIP is proud to be new ideal investment base for Textile Investors.
