VSIP Quang Ngai successfully attracted 31 investors

VSIP Quang Ngai Industrial – Urban – Service Park Project is the 5th VSIP project in Vietnam. This is the first project under VSIP brand in the Central region commenced on September 13, 2013 in the presence of the Prime Ministers of Vietnam and Singapore.

After more than 9 years of investing and developing infrastructure subject to the standards of a professional, green and environmentally friendly industrial park, VSIP Quang Ngai has become a reliable destination to attract investors. .

Up to now, the province has drawn 31 investment projects with a total registered investment capital of USD977 million from following countries: the USA, Philippines, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Belgium, China, etc., In which, 22 investment projects have come into operation and created more than 26,000 jobs for residents. VSIP Quang Ngai expects that it will provide locals with 53,000 jobs subsequent to the operation of  those 31 investors.

Currently, the project has developed 478 hectares out of 660 hectares of industrial land, along with infrastructure and public works constructed at the same time. Two wastewater treatment plants with a capacity of 6,000m3/day/factory, a fire station and 24/7 general security station and a variety of other utilities have been built within the industrial park to meet the needs of the investors’ production and development.

In addition to the development and achievements in attracting investment into industrial parks, VSIP Quang Ngai urban – service project has planned 99.78 hectares and was started construction in February 2016 in Truong Quang Trong ward, Tinh An Tay commune (Quang Ngai city). Quang Ngai has trived for the goal of building a new residential area, meeting demands of the locals on a green – clean – beautiful living environment at a reasonable cost, with  synchronous and modern built infrastructure, diversified facilities, ensuring spaces for living, community communication, entertainment and harmony with nature.

Up to now, the first 24 hectares with full facilities have been completed and put into use such as VSIP Park, VSIP Plaza Shopping Center, gym, community library, tennis court, mini football field… to serve people living in Thien My Loc residential area and surrounding communities.

VSIP Quang Ngai has always actively participated in charity and social security activities for the community with a total value of about VND 13.4 billion to contribute and support provincial community.

Leaders of Quang Ngai Province’s Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks said that in the upcoming time, the Management Board will strengthen on-the-spot investment promotion; accompany and support investors in the process of seeking investment opportunities, implementing and putting the project into operation.

At the same time, the Board will bolster its works on guiding, urging, inspecting and supervising the compliance of investment, planning, construction, land, environment, … activities of enterprises; closely and synchronously manage the planning to properly align with master plans and plans approved by competent authorities. Continue to promote reform of administrative procedures in fields of investment, construction, planning, land and environment practices… in order to create an attractive investment environment, contribute to improving the provincial competitiveness index and administrative reform index. Applying information technology to support the State management for ensuring quality and transparency.
